Hired by the firm tasked with designing the interactive experience of the new Edward M. Kennedy Institute - ESI Design - I had the pleasure of creating a film that showcases the unique experience for students and average patrons alike. I truly believe that institutions (and museums) like the EMK Institute are the future of cultural institutions, and this space and ESI's intelligent design is paving the way to a more engaged and informed world.
The work of Tobias Tovera bring together natural elements, chemical compounds, pigments and chemistry to produces works that become living things. I took two days to follow his process and watch how he creates these incredible works of art.

Volvo’s PR firm – Waggner – approached me to come up with a way to showcase their new XC90 in a way they hadn’t done before with their other vehicles. I couldn’t resist taking it on a road trip, so I took this as a chance to produce my first mini-series, following renowned chef and general badass Jess Roy on a culinary excursion through California. Along the way we met up with amazing chefs and folks of all kinds who shared their passions for life and cooking with us. With an amazing crew behind us, it was hard not to have a good time and walk away with some great content – enjoy!
I drove 5 hours north to Kentucky where I got an all access pass (and then some) to the cooperage where every single barrel is made that JD is aged in. It was a much more involved process than I would have ever imagined and was blown away by the amount of hands-on work they do there.
Armed with my 5D, a glidetrack, tripod and a glidecam (as well as my talented sound man Miles), I set out to shoot the heck out of this place so the incredible editors at Lost Planet in NYC could have their way with it. Here is what they put together with everything I captured in the short amount of time we were there.

I had the pleasure of shooting/directing this spot alongside writer Mike Howard (D&H) and producer Chris Jennings (MINDER) for the Connie Cycling Foundation. Seeing the way cycling and the surrounding community affected these children was immensely inspiring. _

From 2009-2011, I had the chance to work with so many amazing people, and watch so many of their lives change either though building their businesses or through simply experiencing life and enjoying everything it has to offer. I cherish every single one of the people I come into contact with and I appreciate everything that these people have given me. From the long road trips and sleepless nights looking for hidden skate spots, to the countless hours learning about all the hard work someone has put into their art and business, I felt compelled to put together a reflection of my work over the past year and a half. I wanted this piece to reflect my work as a whole, but also show my love for the people I have worked with. I wanted to show them how much they have shaped my life, and how being surrounded by passionate and endearing people has truly made a difference in my life. I hope to never stop doing what I am doing, and that I continue to meet amazing people every single day.
Thank you to all the people who have made my life so wonderful, and thank you to all the people who have been supporting my passion and showing their appreciation for what I do. I hope to keep repaying you in every way I can, and I hope that you continue to enjoy my work.
